How much does a website cost for a small business in Israel? (2026)

6 min read · Updated 6 October 2026

In Israel in 2026 a small business website costs anything from nothing to thousands of shekels, and most of the difference is who builds it. Builder plans run from free to a few tens of dollars a month. One Israeli studio that publishes prices starts at ₪1,390 for a landing page and ₪3,400 for a business site, before VAT, hosting and a domain. A .co.il domain costs ₪74 to ₪92 a year. Below are the prices vendors listed on their own pages on 6 October 2026, and what you pay once versus every month.

The short answer

Prices change, so check each vendor's page before you pay. In short:

  • A builder, done yourself: free with the builder's ads and address, or US$4 to US$70 a month for paid plans, depending on the plan and on paying yearly or monthly.
  • A studio: a one-off fee, from ₪1,390 for a landing page and ₪3,400 for a small business site at one Israeli studio, before VAT, plus hosting and maintenance.
  • A rented site: a setup fee and a monthly fee that covers hosting, domain and maintenance, from ₪900 plus ₪360 a month at one Israeli company.
  • A .co.il domain: ₪74 to ₪92 a year, VAT included, at two accredited registrars.
  • A booking app, if you take appointments: ₪99 to ₪229 a month before VAT at two Israeli apps.
  • WIPE: free to build, ₪99 a month to publish.

Website builders: monthly plans

As listed on 6 October 2026, in US dollars and before tax unless stated:

  • WordPress.com: a free plan on a wordpress.com address, with ads shown to visitors. Personal US$4, Premium US$8, Business US$25 and Commerce US$45 a month billed yearly, or US$9, US$18, US$40 and US$70 paid monthly. Yearly plans include a domain for the first year.
  • Squarespace: no free plan, a 14-day trial. Basic US$12, Core US$17 and Advanced US$25 a month billed yearly, or US$19, US$27 and US$36 monthly. Yearly plans include a year of domain registration. It has no built-in way to write right to left, which matters for a Hebrew site.
  • Site123: a free plan on a Site123 subdomain. Premium, which connects your own domain, starts at US$12.80 a month on an annual plan paid up front according to its Hebrew site; its English pricing page says as low as US$10.80.
  • Wix: a free plan with Wix ads, and paid plans named Light, Core, Business and Business Elite. Wix says prices and currency vary by location and that the US dollar prices it shows are for reference only, so check the price from Israel; this page does not quote them. It offers a 14-day money-back guarantee.
  • Google Sites: free with a Google account, and you can connect a domain you already own. Editing needs a computer.

Studios and rental: what Israeli companies publish

Some Israeli studios publish their prices. Two examples, as listed on their own pages on 6 October 2026:

  • YMDigital: a landing page from ₪1,390; a business site from ₪3,400 built with AI tools or ₪4,200 built the classic way; a fully custom design from ₪6,500; an online store from ₪5,450. All before VAT and without domain and hosting. It lists hosting with maintenance for a business site at about ₪100 a month before VAT.
  • site4rent: rent from ₪900 setup plus ₪360 a month for a one-page business site, with hosting, domain, backups and an hour of maintenance a month included, or buy from ₪4,320 for the same one-page site and ₪9,630 for a full site. It says its prices are final, with nothing added for VAT.

Domain and hosting

Whoever builds the site, register the domain in your own name, so you can move the site later.

  • A .co.il domain: MyNames ₪74 a year and LiveDNS ₪92 a year, both accredited registrars, both including VAT. LiveDNS also lists .com at ₪92 a year.
  • Hosting: included in builder plans and rental packages. If you run WordPress yourself you pay a host; uPress, an Israeli WordPress host, starts at US$15 a month plus VAT for one site, charged in shekels.
  • A domain that comes free for the first year with a builder plan renews afterwards at the regular price, so check that price before you choose.

What you pay once, yearly and monthly

Whoever you hire, ask who hosts the site, who updates it and what a change costs; YMDigital lists ₪300 an hour before VAT, and site4rent ₪400 for a single hour. Then sort each cost into one of these:

  • Once: design and building by a studio, setup fees, a logo or photography.
  • Yearly: the domain, and builder plans if you pay yearly.
  • Monthly: builder plans paid monthly, hosting, maintenance, a rented site, a booking app.
  • Per transaction: clearing fees if clients pay on your site, set by your payment provider.
  • Your own time: a builder costs less money and more evenings of writing and design.

Booking and other monthly tools

If clients book appointments, add a booking app or a builder's booking feature. Two Israeli apps listed these prices on 6 October 2026: quicktor ₪99 a month before VAT, and Pink ₪129 or ₪229 a month before VAT, each with a 14-day trial. Wix Bookings takes bookings only on an upgraded Wix plan, and WordPress.com's Calendly block starts at its Premium plan.

Where WIPE fits, plainly

WIPE (app.iw.pe) builds the site for you from your Instagram, Facebook page or Google listing, in minutes. Building and editing are free, with no credit card. Publishing at yourname.iw.pe is ₪99 a month, the amount charged to your card, at the launch price of a ₪198 plan, kept for as long as you stay subscribed. That is ₪1,188 over a year, with hosting and the address included. For comparison, a ₪4,200 studio site with about ₪100 a month of hosting and maintenance comes to about ₪5,400 before VAT in its first year, without the domain, and WordPress.com Premium billed yearly to US$96, plus your time.

What it does not include today: your own domain, payments on the site, or automatic reminders. If no customer came in your first week on the air, cancel within seven days of the first payment and it is refunded in full.
