Free website builders in Hebrew for a small business (2026)

What each free plan really includes

The address, the ads, the limits and the help you get, builder by builder:

• Wix: the site lives at username.wixsite.com/sitename and shows Wix ads on every page. Free sites get up to 500 MB of storage and 1 GB of bandwidth, cannot take online payments, and can display services but not take bookings. Wix Customer Care, which answers in Hebrew from Sunday to Thursday, is available to free sites. The editor itself is not offered in Hebrew.
• Google Sites: free with a Google account. The site lives on sites.google.com, or on a domain you already own. You edit on a computer, not a phone. Help comes from the Help Center and community; Google lists phone and email support as part of paid Google Workspace.
• WordPress.com: the free plan has no expiry and needs no credit card. You get yoursite.wordpress.com, 1 GB of storage and WordPress.com ads shown to your visitors. Plugins, the WhatsApp button and the Calendly booking block need a paid plan, and so does human support; free sites get community forums. The dashboard can be set to Hebrew.
• Site123: free to use indefinitely, on a Site123 subdomain, with 250 MB of storage, 250 MB of bandwidth and a floating Site123 tag. Your own domain, removing the tag and a store need Premium. It offers free 24/7 live chat and runs a Hebrew version of its site.
• WIPE: building and editing are free, without a credit card, and the draft stays private until you publish. There is no free published plan: going live at yourname.iw.pe costs ₪99 a month, the launch price of a ₪198 plan, locked for as long as you stay subscribed.

Squarespace is not free

Squarespace has no free plan. Every site starts with a 14-day trial without a credit card, and its plans start at US$12 a month billed yearly. It also has no built-in way to write right to left, which rules it out for most Hebrew sites.

When free is enough

Free is usually enough to test an idea, or to give clients who already know you one place with your services, hours and a WhatsApp link. It starts to cost you when strangers find you: the builder's address and ads are the first thing they see, and the features that turn a visit into a booking or a payment sit on paid plans.

For a Hebrew site, check right to left before you build. WordPress.com mirrors its theme when the site language is Hebrew, Wix supports right-to-left text in many parts of its editor, and Google's Sites help pages do not address it.

What you will pay for later

These are the upgrades small businesses usually need, and where each one sits:

• Your own domain: annual paid plans at Wix (most of them), WordPress.com and Site123 include a domain free for the first year. Google Sites lets you connect a domain you own. WIPE offers yourname.iw.pe only; your own domain is not possible today.
• No ads or label: Wix Premium, WordPress.com from its Personal plan (US$4 a month billed yearly) and Site123 Premium (from US$12.80 a month, annual) remove them.
• Booking: Wix Bookings needs a paid plan, WordPress.com's Calendly block needs Premium (US$8 a month billed yearly), and Squarespace uses Acuity Scheduling, a separate subscription. WIPE includes booking requests in its one plan.
• Payments: Wix includes online payments with most paid plans and lists Israeli providers such as Bit, Isracard and Tranzila; Site123's store is part of Premium. WIPE does not take payments from clients today.
• Human support: WordPress.com offers it on paid plans only, while Wix's Customer Care also serves free sites.
• Storage: Wix's free plan stops at 500 MB, WordPress.com's at 1 GB and Site123's at 250 MB.

Where WIPE fits

WIPE is not a free website builder in the usual sense. It reads what your business already published, on Instagram, a Facebook page or Google, and writes a Hebrew site in minutes, with your services, photos, hours and a WhatsApp button with a ready message, plus booking requests by your hours once you turn booking on. You see the whole site before you pay anything. If no clients come in the first week after you publish, cancel within seven days of the first payment and it is refunded in full.
